Final Thoughts:

This was quite a project by the time I'd installed the necessary audio system (4 mid-line 6.5" coaxes, a 10" sub and an amp to run them), the Opus power supply, and lightly modified a dash vent to provide the necessary rear clearance. I'm very happy with the results. The Remote Wonder works very well to run the whole setup, and the sound is great! DVD playback is fantastic w/ Power DVD. and I get the "2000+ songs at random" effect I wanted!

The main challenges were/are:

-Custom fabrication of the front panel (done, but will be redone in carbon fiber or plex later)

-Making enough depth for the chassis (done, modified a vent w/ a heat gun)

-Getting the machine to boot on the Opus PSU. (done, Opus sent the special version for EPIA boards, the regular version won't boot EPIAs)

-Making the sub output work on the EPIA board (in progress)

-Having the PSU shut the comp of 20secs after inginition off it does shut off after 5-10 mins, so not a big deal (in progress, probably a BIOS setting)

My wish list for the future:

-A **small** AM/FM tuner card (all I could find are too big vertically)

-Crystalfontz LCD panel to go below the DVD drive

-More amp channels to achieve 5.1 surround (currently 2.1)

-USB Wi-Fi adaptor
