This piece really convinced me to go ahead with the project. I needed a simple, safe way to change music track, volume, and mute. The Remote Wonder is an RF remote with a reciever that plugs into your USB port. Included is management software that allows you to program special functions on the A-F buttons. For me, "A" launches Windows Media Player, and "B" launches Power DVD. Since I leave WMP on random, I'm not concerned with finding specific songs, so the track up and down on the remote is plenty. The Remote Wonder also incorporates an 8 way pad for mouse-like cursor control. A few othe features: pressing the "power" button shuts down the active application, there are buttons for right and left click on either side of the 8 way pad, there is a "click-hold" button, DVD navigation is similar to a home player's remote w/ 4 way directional and an ok/select button, there is a minimize/full screen hot button. This is by no means a comprehensive list. The bottom line is: For only $50, the Remote Wonder is an excellent, cost effective way to control your car computer or home theater PC!
